In September 2021 the ever-expanding Medical Services company, Creo Medical, invited Office Visions to tender for the fitting out of their newly acquired warehouse facility opposite its existing Headquarter facility on the outskirts of Chepstow.
Having attended a number of client meetings to discuss the brief and to understand the culture and working practices of Creo, Office Visions submitted a detailed design and costing proposal at the start of January 2022. Following further discussions and various amendments to this and the submission of a new proposal, Office Visions were awarded the contract in the March, with a start date on site of 9th May.
2. Successful Completion
The Project duration was 26 weeks and had to be completed in its entirety by 11th November 2022.
Office Visions had to convert the 7,000 ft2 space into a “new” 14,000 ft2 facility, that we did through the installation of a mezzanine floor throughout the entire warehouse. As we started with a blank canvas, the works were extensive and included:
- All new mechanical and electrical infrastructure
- Air conditioning
- Light and power
- Lining of perimeter walls
- Tea points
- Additional curtain walling
- Climbing wall
- A variety of furniture types from Desking, Storage walls and a Bespoke Reception Desk to Tea Point and Collaboration Area furniture
The overall Project value was £1.2 million and the Project was split into 2 phases to enable Creo to move one half of the business to the new facility in the September of 2022
We successfully completed the Project on time and within the budget parameters set by the client. One of the reasons for achieving this was the trusting working relationship that existed between Office Visions and the Creo Project Team and that the advice given by our project team, was well received listened to and actioned quickly, to ensure the programme remained on track, even with changes to the original scope of works, to meet Creo’s changing business demands
